Jennifer Suntych Photography offers professional fine art portraiture in Central Nebraska, including the surrounding towns of Grand Island, Cairo, Kearney, Ord, and beyond :). If you are willing to travel, I will capture your newborn memories! I enjoy working with clients to create custom pieces of art to be proudly displayed in your home. A $75.00 non refundable retainer is required to book your newborn portrait session. Newborn sessions start with a newborn mini at $275.00 and additional options can be added on from there. Clients customize their session to fit their needs and all options include the digital copy of the print purchased. Your newborn session can range from $350.00 to $1470.00 + depending on what your heart desires. Pre-Session Consultation
We typically meet over coffee either at your home, my studio or via skype~ to get to know each other a bit. We talk about your family, what is important to you, and how you’d like to capture and display these memories with your family. Every single detail from being added to your baby gift registry, your clothing choices, poses which you would like, products offered and investment will be covered. Most expecting clients reach out to me soon after finding out they are pregnant to make sure I will have a spot in my schedule. Talking sooner also allows you to set up a payment plan, if needed, so you have no waiting for your products after your baby is born.
Full Portrait Session
Most mamas contact me within a day or two of giving birth to schedule your session date. I like to try and schedule around the one week mark so that if we need to reschedule due to "life" we still have a window within that first two weeks to get your session photographed. Most generally our session will take place during the week starting at 10:00am. I allow plenty of time to make sure you are comfortable and not rushed in any way. Your newborn session lasts anywhere from 1.5-4 hours depending on how many options you have chosen to add on to your newborn mini. I have an endless supply of props and newborn outfits to choose from~ you just need to bring me your baby! You are provided with preparation tips in my Newborn Guide to help your session flow smoothly. I have drinks and snacks for you to enjoy during your session. Parents are able to see baby at all times during the session as baby is posed and photographed with the utmost care. I also have a bed available, I encourage my new mamas to take advantage of this time to catch up on rest!
Reveal & Order Customization
Your reveal appointment will take place approximately one to two weeks after your session. A beautiful presentation of your family’s images is presented to you. We go through each and select your favorites – choosing which images will be printed for Wall Art or Gift Prints for family or displayed in an image box or which image is going to be the cover of your Album. These images will be soft edited, meaning they won't be completely edited (I will have a few completely finished- so rest assured the final images will look like the images which brought you to me in the first place!) and you will always have my assistance with selecting appropriate sizes and media to purchase that meet your needs.
Follow Up
Communication is important between us. I want to hear from you. I follow up with you after your session and welcome feedback about your experience. I am always looking for ways to provide the best experience for my clients and I welcome you to contact me any time.
